Lydia's First Day
When did my baby get old enough for school??? She was so excited! The night before she wanted to put her hair in curlers. After laying in bed she said it was important to get a good nights sleep and could I please take the curlers out??? She is too funny. In the morning she saw our neighbor outside and wanted a picture with Bruce. I for one am excited about the uniform. My life is already so much easier!!! Love you Lydia
Ten Years Ago,,,,,
August 18, 2003 we met and fell in love, two years later we were married, 1 year leater we were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. This means I can celebrate my ten year anniversary two more times!!! We planned a two night getaway to Vegas. I wanted to do something special for my cutie. When we were at the conference in June everyone was raving about the Helicopter Trips, so I booked one for us. Sundance Helicopters was amazing!!! Our pilot Landon also is LDS and made sure to point out the Las Vegas Temple on our way back which was incredible to see all lit up from the air. When I booked the trip, the guy helping me said he'd let me do the Sunset Tour for the same price as the day trip as a special gift. WOW the Susnset Tour is the way to go people. A limo came and picked us up, we flew with some fun Ausssies, and while in the Grand Canyon at our "sunset picnic" one of the other passangers pulled out bagpipes and started playing Amazing Grace. A very beautiful moment as the canyon walls were changing colors before our very eyes. It was awesome flying back into Vegas with the strip all lit up. The next night we went to see Garth Brooks, AMAZING!!!

Bald Faced Hornet
GO AWAY! Poor Cecil was mowing the lawn when he got stung, thank goodness he's not allergic. It took 3 technicians to remove this little gift in my back yard. I have only ever seen hives like this in Winnie the Pooh Books.

Blue Lake
There is a geotherm lake outside of Wendover called Blue Lake. Scuba Divers are able to get certified here. It's a constant 72 degrees, so we decided to try it out. Unfortunately we didn't know about all the nasty bugs that were going to attack us. So after getting there we changed our minds, but managed a few shots. You can also see the curvature of the earth from Three Mile Mountain. (oops, forgot the camera shot) Bonnevile Salt Flats we missed, but we did see this nifty car that will be racing there this weekend. So, as you can see we had an amazing time. I love Lake Tahoe, it's a little bit sentimental since Cecil and I went there for our Honeymoon. The kids had so much fun and I'm sure the older two will remember this trip always.
Wendover
On the way back we stayed in Wendover. One can only drive so far with three small children and a 38 ft trailer. What does one do in Wendover??? Shooting Lessons! Cecil's version of Hunter Safety. Michael Joseph enjoyed watching from the truck. When it was Cecil's turn, the kids found climbing rocks just as fun.
