Happy Halloween

Another Halloween come and gone.  Lydia and David changed costumes between all the events, but M.J. stayed happy in his skeleton costume.  Our friends had us over for chili before trick-or-treating was to begin.  And Ryan brought home a limo from his business.  So, you had the 4 Goeller Princesses, 1 Shern Princess, and 1 Lloyd Princess trick-or-treating via limo.  It's a very old limo and actually has a wrap with skulls on it so it was perfect for the evening.  I sat home and passed out candy, and many kids commented on the dead person car driving around the neighborhood.  I'm sure this will go down as one of Lydia's favorite Halloweens ever.  Our other awesome friend Judy had a big screen t.v. out in the front yard and was playing Michael Jackson's Thriller.  Also quite a hit.  Cecil took the boys via wagon and David tired soon after and just wanted to be home watching t.v.  All is well, just missed my Binks' on a night like tonight!

Happy Birthday Linda Feuz Williams

October is a month of birthdays around here.  Saturday was my lovely mother's birthday.  Once upon a time she had a wonderful roasting pan, but her daughter probably put it in the DI pile when cleaning out her storage room, or it might still be in there.  Who knows???  Every year she comments on mine, am I sure it's mine???  Yes, I earned it through Pampered Chef.  So this year, I ordered her the Pampered Chef Roasting Pan.  My cute sis-in-law Pia and our friends Pattee and Anne came with us to brunch at Mimi's Cafe, yummy.  My mom and I are into practical gifts, but my dad went all out and got her some beautiful Pandora charms and also and Ipad.  So mom, Happy Birthday.  Thank you for being a wonderful mother and a fabulous yaya to your grandkids.  They adore you as much as you adored your grandmother.  Thank you for all the fun memories made and to be made.

Highlights from Nethercott Family Reunion

How often do I mention on my blog about how awesome my family is??? Growing up my brother and I were extra close with my mom's side of the family where we would spend a good chunk of every summer with them.  When my Aunt Snoozie was down in Salt Lake we went to Orson Gygi for supplies that she needed for their reunion.  Never to miss out on fun, I wanted to be invited and she said yes.  What a great time!  They reserved the Mantua Girls Home through the church.  We took the fifth wheel and four wheelers, another cousin had their r.v.  There was sand volleyball, karaoke (which seems to have found a permanant home in my living room), horse shoe rings, apples to pick, awesome trails.  You get the picture.  My cousins put on a good party, lots of activities for the kids and adults and fantastic food.  We also had a spotlight on my maternal grandma and learned some new things about her as well.  Anyway thanks family for the wonderful time.  My kids and I were in a little piece of heaven.  There were certain times of the day when we would be sitting and a whirlwind of leaves would fly off the trees, the colors were beautiful, the mountains and lake breathtaking.  I felt so fortunate to get to know my cousins spouses on a deeper level.   Seems like you grow up and just see extended family at weddings and baby blessings so it was wonderful to spend time together.  Thanks again Nethercott Family for including us.

David turns 4!

David is spoiled in that he has a month long celebration.  First was a tea party with ya ya, then we had the combo party with Granpa Joe, and best cousin Brandon (also October babies).  Then mom and dad had a  little cake for him on his actual b-day.  He's a happy 4 year old as long as he can watch t.v.  His new loves are Star Wars, Transformers, and Iron Man.  I kind of miss the simple train stage.  No one can make cakes like Bree, but I'm trying.
