Halloween and First Snow
I just noticed Cecil saved a few of the new pics to the computer. My cousin Katy and her family invited a group of us over for a Pumpkin Carving. We had yummy food and then went to work on our pumpkins. I'm hoping we can make that into a yearly tradition. It was a lot of fun to do together. Halloween fun, trick or treating in the old neighborhood in our friends limo while cecil handed out candy in the new place. Then we swapped and he took the boys house to house at the new place while I finished passing out candy. The first snow was of course magical as always. Lydia went to work right away on the snowman. I'm not sure that David and M.J. were really that much help, but it was fun anyway!
Our camera got lost in Moab sometime this past summer and Cecil bought us a new one in the fall, but I haven't had the chance to learn how to really use it. But it does have pics lots of them on it, so maybe I'll get to that soon. In the meantime, we had many Christmas Celebrations! We had a neighborhood party around 60 people (adults only), then we had my dad's final Williams Family Christmas Party, then the Shern Party, and finally the Williams/Shern/VonAllman Christmas Dinner. Pia is an amazing photographer and sent some pics. We also drove by some of the houses with lights and music.

There's this old historic barn a few houses down from us. These are the residents, sometimes they play on our field.

Laundry Goddess
It's Tuesday, Saturday my laundry was caught up. I have many things I'm grateful for. Maytag is one of them. Today as I was folding clothes I thought of my mom who would haul laundry up 6 flights of stairs with two toddlers in Europe. She was given one day a week to do laundry for three years! My heart also goes out to my friend in Virginia expecting number 8 & 9 this spring!!! Wow, her laundry must be crazy!!!! And thanks to my dog Kaiser for keeping me company while I fold away!!! I'm also grateful that I don't need to iron much at all.

First Half Marathon (possibly last)
When we moved to our new neighborhood the Relief Society was planning a half marathon from the Draper Temple to the American Fork Temple. So I just had ankle surgery big deal. Thanks to my awesome bootcamp buddy Ashley for going with me. This was an amazing experience. I loved it! Thanks to the Burton's for picking us up and thanks to Ava for watching the little people! Check that off my bucket list!

Michael Joseph is Growing up!
This is a big deal for me! Yesterday was the first day in almost 7 years that I didn't have to change a diaper. My little guy is becoming a big boy and had his first day with no accidents. (I'm sure there will be a few, but wow) The money I will save at Costco not buying wipes and diapers!!!

Carpet
This was the carpet we had to pull from the entire house!!!! There were many untrained dogs living here! We love our new carpet though.

After more than a year of looking, we found a new home in Draper. We closed on it last week and are excited for this new chapter in our life. We are fortunate to have great renters that will move into our current home that already live in the neighborhood and it seems the timing worked out perfect for everyone. Lydia is excited because when she goes to piano, she will be coming to her old house. And now the work begins at the new home!!!! We are blessed and excited!

We've been busy
We went to Disneyland, Seaworld, Vegas with the kids and Sid, our friend from Denmark. There have also been piano recitals, soccer games for the 6 year old and the 17 year old nephew, an ankle surgery (FINALLY), and end of school programs. We've also been working on something for the whole family, but more about that later. So here are a few pics of life lately.

John Stossel
We had a great date at the Grand Little America. Dinner and John Stossel as the guest speaker for the Utah Taxpayers Association. Kind of fun mingling with senators and respresentatives and of course a table full of libertarians! Thanks sweetheart! You are the best and John Stossel was awesome!
