Two Weeks
Little Michael Joseph had surgery on his eyes two weeks ago. He has beautiful straight brown eyes now! The hardest part for our little patient was eye drops, he wanted nothing to do with that 4 times a day! Lydia had lazy eyes, so eventually her eyes would focus, M.J. had a pemanant cross eye (it never moved) which left untreated would have caused him to go blind in that eye. Dr. Dries is an amazing surgeon and we were so blessed with the prayers and good thoughts that were sent our way. Before he went in we had them sedate him a little (unlike Lydia he is much more attached to us). While Cecil was holding him M.J. noticed one of the ceiling tiles had Batman on it. When he woke up in recovery that was one of the first words he said. Ever since then the kid is obsessed with Batman. He must have had some awesome dreams durring surgery about Batman:)

Christmas Miracle
Last June Cecil took me to pick out some Pandora charms. While we were there a pretty pink ring caught my eye. I love anything pink. Well on Christmas morning I opened up the ring I had admired, a couple hours later what do you think I found??? My ring and watch that had been missing for over a month. I cleaned that cupboard three times, once with the help of a neighbor even. Either way I'm happy to have found my wedding ring and watch and Cecil said I could still keep the new ring too. Isn't my husband the sweetest???
