I'm a fun mom!  Well, I try every now and then.  Even though the inversion was in full swing, I braved the elements and took the little people. 

Elves and Pixies

Long before elf on the shelf my great grandmother started a tradition of the Christmas elves and pixies.  They would leave a little money for the children so they could give a gift to someone:). They also have parties and play w toys!

Gingerbread House

Grandpa and Grandma had us all over for dinner and gingerbread house decorating.  They had the houses assembled for us so we were able to let our artistic talent flow!

When a girl becomes a little lady

Lydia had to wait till 8 to get her ears pierced. Her best friend also had to wait, so now the time has come and the girls were able to go together and get their earrings. So fun!

 

Grandpa's Firestation

I love my inlaws!  Joe and Bev had the grandkids for a sleepover and then went to the Firestation Joe worked at before he retired!  It's extra special because it's on the AirBase at the airport!  The kids went for a ride in the truck too!  So much fun and a great memory!  David wants to be an Air Force Firefighter!

Turkey Trot 2013

Cecil finished first! (In our family) Lydia was 7 minutes behind him!  And I was 10 minutes behind my daughter!  We had fun and I'm hoping next year to talk David into joining us and to be under 40 minutes!  I'm also hoping next year it will be a green air day:)
