So, our trip to San Diego was the best. We were able to do Sea World, Lego Land, Knotsberry Farm, and Belmont Park, the vacation itself was a roller coaster ride. The kids had a great time and we were able to enjoy our family. The baby shower was at a beautiful country club in Vista and we also were able to dine at my cousin-in-law's family restaurant, also in Vista. It's nice to be home and I'm actually able to use the new camera we purchased for the trip.

May I ramble?

How Redundant do I sound? I guess I'll have to scan what I have said before so I don't repeat myself. So the big snow yesterday was awesome. I had a friend come over and we took four kids under the age of four to the church parking lot and hooked the sled up to the 4-wheeler and had a blast. Lydia fell asleep at 8:30, good old fresh air really does make little people tired.
After a year of self inflicted hair coloring and cutting, jumping between other friends, I was able to see my friend in Park City and have it done professionally ahh, so nice. I didn't realize until I was there how long my hair had become. We chopped off 9 inches, and it's still long enough to do the mom ponytail.
Pregnancy Weight it is my downfall. I'm happiest at 165, and with Lydia I got up to 205 then got back to 193, with David I got up to 265, probably hard to imagine me at that weight when you look at my height of 5 3, and after a year of serious hard work got down to a consistent 194, I actaually made it to 187 one week, but that shouldn't count since I couldn't eat anything and was sick as a dog. At both 16 week checks with the other two I had already gained 20 lbs, I'm happy to report that I've only gained 9, so my goal is to only gain 20 lbs. Realistic??? I don't know all the "books" say if you are 20 lbs or more overweight that is all you should need to gain. Still I have to wonder since we now know from experience my baby's have been in the 8 and 9 lbs range. Part of my new dilema is the Dr. told me no more exercising, so my faithful three times a week bootcamp is off limits, that has me nervous. I now understand the meaning of shedding the last 20 lbs. Well, I'm determined to do it after this little Shern makes an appearnace. So, if anything else is on this blog my rant about weight should be enough to keep updated.

So, my goal is to figure this blog thing out this week. But an update of life for now is all I can manage. Cecil's pharmacy is keeping him busy, but I'm sure he is looking forward to golf as soon as possible. He's also going up to Canada for just over a week in June to do some hard core fishing. Lydia has discovered how to talk back, which makes me scared for the teenage years. David has decided not to talk yet, he's my man of no words. And I am keeping busy running around with my head chopped off, but that's o.k. We are also expecting another little Shern, the due date is 9-9-09, however I've already negotiated the birth to be on August 31. The bonus of scheduled c-section and history of large babies. I'm also selfish, both Lydia and David will be starting K a year later because of their dates of birth, and so I'll be able to put this one in right away!!!! Maybe when Kindergarten actually gets here, I'll be sad, but for right now I can't wait!!! Super Mom I've never claimed to be. We are also off to San Diego for my cousins' baby shower. We will meet up with some great friends who have since had two cutie pies. So the plan is Sea World, Lego Land, Knotsberry Farm, and the zoo. I'm hopeful to have pictures to post.

Well we have celebrated one Christmas so far with Cecil's dad and sisters. Lydia and David were in fine form. Now we just have three more to go. We've decided our life resembles 4 Christmases with all the house hopping. We are the proud owners of a new ATV that also has a snow plow attached. The neighbors are enjoying it with all the snow we've had. Cecil and friends are enjoying the wakeboard they hook up to it in the snow. That makes for a fun ride.

Thanksgiving was wonderful and we're gearing up for Christmas and Lydia's birthday. Where did 3 years go? Cecil is going to Canada this summer with friends for a fishing trip and I get to go to my cousins baby shower in San Diego. I'm proud of my Amy and the many runs she has participated in this year! Way to go!
