David goes to school two days a week for speech therapy. He's speech delayed, he tests high for everything else but doesn't feel the need to talk much. One morning I realized I should get a picture. Understand that the school bus comes to pick him up at 7:15 a.m. Fortunately my kids take after me and are early birds, but it's still an effort to actually be ready to go somewhere at that time. I really need to read the manual on my camera though. It was a snowy day and he was so excited, he LOVES the bus and the first pic is of the bus. (forgot the flash) Helpful Hint:As soon as your child turns three, they are eligble for any of the programs in your local school district if they meet the criteria. Thanks to a friend I was told about this. At 2 1/2 we had David tested and paid a small fee for a speech therapist to come to our home twice a month. He also participated in a toddler class with Cecil at a Special Needs School. Once three rolled around he started school and has enjoyed it ever since.

Cecil
I love my husband. There are a million reasons why. Yesterday he and Lydia went to run errands. (If you know our family errands=Costco) I was home enjoying the two little guys and happily doing dishes. (I'm a little ocd in my kitchen and actually enjoy doing my dishes and cleaning my counters) As I was finishing up, in walks my little Lydia Dana with a beautiful boquet of flowers. "Happy Valentine's Day Mommy, I picked these out for you and daddy paid for them." My heart melted. Cecil and I will be away and so this is a good way for me to enjoy them now. I think of how hard he works to give us a wonderful life with exciting opportunites and I'm so grateful for him and all he does. I love that in caring for our little family he is really getting into survival mode. His new thing is Food Storage, shame on me for not taking this serious and working as hard on it as him. But I'm trying and I really do appreciate my Cecil. Love ya sweetie, me
Brandi And Ashley And Texas Lisa
Every now and then your life gets rearranged. A little over a year ago our ward was reorganized. You have to know that since 2007 the best trainer in the world has offered a bootcamp. What started out as a Biggest Loser Contest for the neighborhood turned into a permanant thing for a few of us. We used to go to the church park, then winter set in and because we were paying a small fee, couldn't actually use the church gym, I offered up our 3 car garage. At one point we had well over 20 people. Then life seemed to take over and it just kind of died a death. Fortunately a few months later Brandi Trainer Extrodiaire had a huge Bootcamp and a sweet facility so Ashley, Lisa, and I participated in this adventure. This involved getting up at like 5:00 a.m. driving clear over to Daybreak and working our hearts out. Did I mention there was like 100 people involved in this one???? Then Lisa's husband was accepted to law school in Texas. We miss her. But then at the beginning of fall Brandi had a more convenient location for us. Willowcreek (Sandy). I'm a little exhausted with the three little people and Cecil's work, but because these cute ladies are not in my "Ward" anymore and I love seeing what Ashley is really like at 5:00 a.m. I continue my Bootcamp activities two days a week. The only other time I feel like I've ever been pushed to my physical limit is when I was a competitive gymnast in Europe. Brandi ranks right up there with those crazy coaches. And as the alarm ticks away and I think of rolling over, I know that the two days a week I do this, I've got Super Endorphins Happy As Can Be. Maybe I'll have Brandi take a pic of Me and Ashley next Tuesday. And Lisa, maybe when you're here this summer you can joing us again?????
